Red Bandoliers was formed by three independent musicians in September 2019. After only a few rehearsals, the trio had discovered their distinct style and wrote some of their most prominent songs. They recorded their first single “Devils Thoughts” in February 2020, which then led to their first notable shows, which were held in Lower Austria and Vienna. After a few months of hiatus due the Covid-19 pandemic they recorded their first EP “Old Gooseberry” in October 2020. The band is heavily influenced by Hard Rock and Rock’N’Roll music, but often expands into other musical terrains such as: Blues, Stoner, and Psychedelic Rock. Slower heartfelt ballads are also part of their arsenal. The Red Bandoliers are not afraid to evolve into whatever their inspiration moulds them into.
In the summer of 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the band was reformed, bringing in a new bassist and drummer to the group. Shortly after, they begin working on their second EP which jump-started a new chapter.
